New Post Home

After many years, Smyrna Post 160 has new Post Home. We worked closely with The City of Smyrna, as they expanded and enhanced their Brinkley Park complex. Ceremonial Groundbreaking for our New Post Home occurred on Wednesday, July 4, 2007. Site work commenced in November 2007, construction began in May 2008 and the facility was completed in late December 2008. The inaugural event in the newly completed facility was the New Year's Eve Party held on December 31, 2008.

The new facility has been designed to conform to ADA Standards for Accessible Design and the U.S. Green Building Council LEED® Green Building Rating System™.

Cork-Howard Construction of Marietta served as the Post's General Contractor and Sizemore Group of Atlanta provided Architectural Services.
