Our Programs
The Smyrna Post 160 American Legion Family offers ongoing support for a number of worthwhile programs, including: Cobb County Special Olympics, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, City of Smyrna "Shop with a Hero" Program, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Fisher House Foundation, The Poppy Program, Keep Smyrna Beautiful Adopt-A-Mile, and the Classroom Flag Program.
Through the Joe Lattanzi Boys State and Girls State Fund, the Post 160 Legion Family provides annual sponsorship of approximately 20 young men and 20 young women from local High Schools to The American Legion Georgia Boys State and the American Legion Auxiliary Georgia Girls State programs held each summer at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro.
The Post 160 Legion Family also provides sponsorship, provisioning, and staffing of a Food Bank serving the Legion's Support Our Troops program and those in need throughout the community.
Proceeds from the Buy-A-Brick Campaign will be used to help fund the installation and ongoing maintenance of the landscaping, walkways, monuments, and flag review court at the New Post Home.
